It is a common phrase that is powerful and once you understand its true meaning it's as if an invitation to a focused life has arrived on your door step and you're excited to open it. We are taught from grade school to think decisions through and weigh the pro's and con's of every situation. Life is no different; these morsels of advice still apply. The key concept here is time. Time is a commodity that we can not keep, hold, or renew. Realize that the time you carve out to spend with other people is valuable and can not be given back. If you feel slighted in the simplest way once plans are made with someone who appears to lack the effort and drive in executing said plans then honestly, whats the point? As humans it is natural to want and enjoy the company of another but when your time is not respected nor the effort reciprocated in planning, its time for you to re-evaluate your surroundings. Always remember, you have one life to live, live it to the fullest. You are the most important person in your life, let it be known.
